This week I start the chapter on the unique value proposition of Comic NFTs in comparison to simply issuing standard PDFs or offering digital comics on a platform like Comixology.
When I wrote the book, the changes at ComiXology, that make my point about “leased content” even more relevant, hadn’t occurred yet.
The implications of the moves at Comixology are partially described in the following videos from acerbic, but entertaining, Youtube commentator “Perch.” If you aren’t already following his content, it is worth a listen. Just don’t expect to agree with everything he says and do expect to be offended from time to time.
