The TfC Ramble is a weekly, skimmable smorgasbord of content from the intersection of comics and technology. Enjoy!
Just for Fun
Not news or comics-related, but the storytelling here left me feeling a tad unworthy. Ha! The entire (?) series is available on YouTube.
AI
The ultimate list of AI tools for creators. Have a look. Whether you see this list as a threat or an opportunity will probably depend a lot on your current workflow and how you feed your family.
NFTs
A comic creator friend asked me “Can you tell how many holders there are of a particular NFT?” The unsatisfying answer was “It depends” because it really depends on what blockchain we are talking about. I put this video together to show some techniques for proving to yourself that, among other things, the creators of a comic NFT collection aren’t simply wash trading to make it look like an NFT is selling more than it really is.
Hero NFT (an NFT that has an accompanying comic) has announced details on their move to Polygon. The Polygon blockchain appears to be gaining more traction almost daily. This is also an example of how, even if a blockchain experiences difficulty (in this case, Luna), there can still be life for an NFT.

Writer Accountability
I finished the first draft of Lump Dog #1 on Friday! If Only the Fate of the World was the prologue for The Lump Sum Saga, this would be the first chapter. I am pretty happy with what I’ve written. Now I’ll let it sit (while I do some accounting and room painting) and return to it in about a week. If history is any indication, I’ll probably hate a good portion of what I’ve put into Scrivener. Ha. After the next revision, I’ll send it to peers for input. If you are a subscriber and you are interested in providing feedback, leave me a comment below.
Of course, that edit assumes that I don’t get lost in tax season purgatory. Yup, it’s that time of year again. 🤦
