Scrivener 08: Customizing the Toolbar

How I set up the toolbar in my workspace for using the GT Comic Template
  • 0:00 - No two writers use Scrivener the same way. There are just so many things you can customize. But remember, this is optional.

  • 00:25 - What is the toolbar -> the region  are talking about

    • 00:45 If it is not there, use View-> Show Toolbar

  • 01:07 - Right-click on the toolbar. Icon & text options.

  • 01:37 - Introduction to the options I use when writing comics.

  • 04:50 - Move: Control-Command- Right/Left or Edit->Move->Right/Left

  • 06:58 - Go back. The “browser type” arrows.

  • 08:35 - Two ways to bring up the “Customize Toolbar…”

  • 09:00 - You can drag an icon off of your toolbar if you don’t want it. 

  • 10:00 - Reset the toolbar to the defaults

  • 10:15 - Hit ESC to get out of the “Customize Toolbar…” window.
