I’m off to Vancouver Island to celebrate a milestone birthday with family and friends. I have no idea what they’ve planned, but I should have stories to tell. Ha! Until then, I leave you with a poem and a photo of one of my co-workers.
Experience
Poet: Geo. Crahhe
When all the fiercer passions cease
(The glory and disgrace of youth)
When the deluded soul in peace,
Can listen to the voice of truth;
When we are taught in whom to trust
And how to spare, to spend, to give
(Our prudence kind, our pity just),
Tis then we rightly learn to live.
It’s been a week in the world of comics. Be kind to yourself. Leave room for joy.
