We are fully in the dead zone of the campaign now but we’re actually still ahead of our target, so I’m not overly stressed. Today was all about launching my viral giveaway. I’ll do a full blog post about that when more data comes in.
Tasks
Using Canva, I finished work on the graphic for the KingSumo-based viral giveaway. I created modified versions of these images for posting on social media. I’ve posted to Twitter and Instagram (and boosted the latter).
The morning had a little more EXCITING administrivia to deal with for another
super-exciting I can’t talk about it yetproject. More on this when I can shout it out from the rooftop. I have a 7:30 am online meeting tomorrow. In my heads-down state, it appears I missed forwarding some contract language to my comics IP lawyer regarding another project. We are close to getting that contract finished.
I acquired the domain tlsscontest.com as a redirect for my viral giveaway.
What I am waiting for
I’m still waiting for the promised “proof” gif for the lenticular cover.
The final contract language for another project.
Gratitude
I received something awesome via e-mail today that will make an excellent milestone incentive. I can’t wait to reveal it!
Lessons learned
Be sure all of your links are set and active in your social media bios. I absolutely forgot one on my Instagram account!
Remember that domain names (great for long URL redirects) can take up to 48 hours to propagate across the Internet. Leave time before trying to use them.
Leave slush time to deal with non-Kickstarter projects.
